Our company carries her name because it carries her spirit. Grandmom Honey loved her family fiercely, welcomed everyone to her table, and made every person who walked through her door feel cherished. That same kindness, dignity, and unconditional love is what we bring into every home we serve.

Her love is the reason we care the way we do.

Premmie Harris, MSN, RN, Founder and CEO of Grandmom Honey, LLC

Premmie Harris, MSN, RN

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Premmie Harris, MSN, RN, is a distinguished nurse executive, healthcare leader, and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of progressive nursing experience spanning acute care, home health, hospice, long-term care, quality assurance, and executive leadership. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to one purpose—providing compassionate, high-quality care while improving the lives of patients, families, and communities.

Premmie's healthcare journey began while she was still in high school as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Driven by an unwavering passion for serving others, she steadily advanced through every level of nursing, becoming a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), and ultimately earning both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Maryville University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University with a concentration in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Her extensive clinical and leadership experience includes medical-surgical nursing, neurosurgery, hospice, skilled home health, case management, quality improvement, and serving in executive roles as a Clinical Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing. She has successfully led multidisciplinary teams, overseen clinical operations, mentored healthcare professionals, and implemented quality initiatives designed to elevate patient outcomes and regulatory excellence.

As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Grandmom Honey, LLC, Premmie has combined decades of clinical expertise with a heartfelt mission to redefine compassionate home care. Grandmom Honey was founded in loving memory of Premmie Lee Stephenson, affectionately known as “Grandmom Honey,” whose legacy of kindness, dignity, and unconditional love continues to inspire the organization's culture and commitment to exceptional service. Every client is treated with the same respect, compassion, and personalized attention that family deserves.

Premmie's leadership philosophy is rooted in integrity, accountability, respect, and trust. She believes every individual deserves to age with dignity, maintain independence, and receive care that honors their unique needs and life story. Through Grandmom Honey, she is dedicated to creating meaningful relationships with clients and families while raising the standard of excellence in non-medical home care and private-pay nursing services.

Premmie is also a two-time breast cancer survivor. Walking that journey as both a patient and a nurse deepened her compassion, strengthened her faith, and gave her a personal understanding of what it means to need care that treats you with dignity, patience, and love.

Recognized for her commitment to professional excellence, Premmie is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She continues to lead with humility, clinical excellence, and an unwavering commitment to serving others.

For Premmie, nursing is far more than a profession—it is a calling. Her life's work reflects a deep belief that compassionate care has the power to transform lives, strengthen families, and build healthier communities.

“Nursing is more than my profession—it is my purpose, my passion, and my lifelong commitment to serving others.”
